About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Operations within its Real Estate division. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities including operations, financial reporting, and fund accounting for the company's real estate partners' funds and their underlying investments. This role involves liaising with various teams such as Tax, Fund Accounting, Legal, and Compliance to ensure the accuracy and compliance of transaction accounting, as well as overseeing the production of financial statements and trial balances. The VP will also be involved in fund-level operating activities, regulatory filings, and the LP distribution process. Additionally, the role includes managing and developing staff, overseeing entity and expense management, and coordinating initiatives to enhance fund operations. Applicants for this position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in public accounting, private equity fund accounting, or private equity fund operations, and hold an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or economics. A CPA or graduate degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, as is the ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects. The role demands a professional with a strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive attitude, who can demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills. The VP will be expected to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and to lead a team in both the U.S. and India.
