Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Level Overnights in Denver CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy transportation location where you will conduct routine patrols remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and our agile reliable and innovative team you will put people first work with integrity and contribute through teamwork in a dynamic fast-moving environment.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals public areas access points and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances restricted areas and high-traffic locations to help support authorized access observe arriving and departing activity and report concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete routine reports document incidents and relay observations regarding equipment issues suspicious behavior and/or operational concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
