Job Description

Senior Python Developer

McLean, VA (Hybrid)


4 months (extension TBD)

Candidates with GitHub repositories are encouraged to submit samples of prior work.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong Python development experience 7+ years


Hands-on experience with AWS, including Lambda and Aurora/RDS.


Experience working with APIs and data migrations.


Proven testing and troubleshooting skills in development projects.


Ability to handle end-to-end development lifecycle and support code validation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Python applications and scripts for API and data migration tasks.


Migrate and validate data from DynamoDB tables to Aurora DB, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.


Work with AWS services including Lambda, RDS/Aurora, and associated APIs to support migration and integration.


Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and code adjustments to ensure high-quality deliverables.


Support metadata-related tasks and manual data transition efforts as needed.
