Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Roseville, CA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. The position requires a commitment to patient-centered care, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. No new graduates. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA. Active California Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Experience evaluating and developing treatment plans, delegation of discipline-specific therapy services, and functional treatment program design preferred. Experience with electronic medical record documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry. Ability to participate in student supervision and provide a professional learning environment. Demonstrated adherence to state practice act, professional licensure in good standing, and completion of mandated continuing education. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting with a focus on return-to-community and functional outcomes. Experience with performance improvement initiatives and quality improvement processes. Assignment Details Schedule: 40 hours per week, structured as 5x8. Clinic requires adherence to standards of personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality. Candidate may be expected to perform safe patient handling, materials handling, and follow infectious disease and workplace safety protocols.
