Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Position Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center – Brighton, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, seeks a full‑time fellowship‑trained Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist. The position will be primarily based at Boston Medical Center – Brighton and will provide MFM services to Boston Medical Center – South in Brockton, MA.

Clinical Responsibilities

Within the Maternal Fetal Medicine division, the candidate will perform obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, perinatal consultation, antepartum management, office practice, and optional labor‑floor management. The role is part of a growing practice with a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician and a Nurse Practitioner serving approximately 3,000 newborns annually. The division includes Level 4 maternity care and a Level 3 NICU with full‑time on‑site neonatology.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and eligibility for a Massachusetts Medical License.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology and completion of a fellowship in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine.
• Commitment to collegial, evidence‑based practice, patient care, and medical student education.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation range: $339,815 – $504,222. The base salary will be based on clinical FTE, qualifications, experience, board certifications, specialty, training, and scope of practice. Incentive compensation, if applicable, will be discussed during the interview process. The position includes a competitive salary, dynamic work environment, and comprehensive benefits package.
