Role Overview: A physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Services are delivered across the continuum in a cost-effective, quality-driven, and patient-centered manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Develops and revises treatment plans with patient and family input, providing education and discharge instructions. Collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans. Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient education according to departmental protocols. Maintains ethical standards, respects diversity, and ensures patient confidentiality. Communicates effectively with team members, participates in meetings, and organizes workload efficiently. Engages in professional development, completes required competencies, and mentors new staff. Upholds organizational policies, standards of conduct, and infection prevention protocols. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
