5% Market Pay Differential Increased Night Shift Premium - 10% $2 Weekend Differential Sign On Bonus: $10,000 Department: Cardiac Cath Lab Schedule: Full-time 6:30am - 5pm; on-call (30 minute response time) variable weeknights/weekends and holidays Hospital: Henry Ford Health Genesys Location: Grand Blanc, Michigan GENERAL SUMMARY Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established standards, clinical practice guidelines, and patient care goals. Develop and coordinate multidisciplinary plans of care while promoting patient rights, dignity, culture, preferences, and expressed needs. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, safety measures, discharge instructions, and self-care needs. Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other therapeutic interventions according to established policies and procedures. Monitor patient physiological status, including vital signs, lab results, pain levels, intake/output, and blood glucose, recognizing and responding appropriately to changes in condition. Perform and assist with nursing procedures including catheterization, wound care, specimen collection, IV therapy, and patient preparation for procedures and surgery. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, hospital staff, patients, families, and community agencies to ensure continuity of care and effective discharge planning. Respond appropriately to emergency situations through timely intervention, use of emergency equipment, and adherence to established protocols. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, patient education, and outcomes. Promote patient safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Provide leadership, direction, and support to team members while fostering a respectful, collaborative work environment. Qualifications Education/Experience Requirements Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or transfer date required. Certified BLS provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained with 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or, Certified Instructor. Education: Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program. Previous Cath Lab experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
