The salary range for this position is $34.50 - $55.20 (Hourly Rate) Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. Monday - Friday position hours will be 8:30am-5pm. No weekend and off major holidays NM observes. A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice. Also responsible for phone triage, abnormal test result delivery and corresponding care instructions. Responsibilities Performs all aspects of patient care by utilizing evidenced based practice in a manner which optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. Follows the six medication rights and reduces the potential for medication errors, administering medications based on the age and clinical condition of the patient. States rationale for clinical decisions based on critical thinking.
