Overview

The CAD/BIM Manager leads CAD and BIM standards, workflows, and technical delivery across engineering projects. This role supports design teams by ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant project deliverables while driving continuous improvement in processes, training, and technology.

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of CAD/BIM standards, procedures, and workflows.
• Support engineering and design teams in the production of project deliverables using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
• Review drawings, models, and construction documents for quality, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
• Coordinate CAD/BIM efforts across disciplines to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Manage CAD/BIM templates, families, libraries, and standard details.
• Identify and resolve drafting, modeling, and standards-related issues.
• Support design revisions and document updates throughout project execution.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to CAD/BIM users.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and promote CAD/BIM best practices.

• Associate degree or higher in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering design and drafting experience supporting civil and/or vertical construction projects.
• 3+ years of experience using Revit.
• 3+ years of experience using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of CAD/BIM standards, workflows, and quality control practices.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience serving as a CAD/BIM Lead, Coordinator, or Manager.
• Experience developing and maintaining CAD/BIM standards and procedures.
• Experience in training, mentoring, and technical support.
• Familiarity with engineering and construction project delivery processes.
• Experience supporting software implementation and process improvement initiatives.

Collaborative engineering environment supporting infrastructure and building projects. Primarily office-based with regular coordination among engineers, designers, and project teams. Uses industry-standard CAD and BIM software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $36.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fort Worth,TX.
