Sr Director Construction Management Services

Role Description

Parsons is seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced professional to serve as Sr. Director for Construction Management Services, including:

• Program Management
• Construction Management
• Risk Management
• Scheduling
• Cost Estimating
• Progress Reporting
• Construction Quality Assurance
• Safety
• Other supporting services to achieve program success

We would prefer candidates located in the Huntsville, Alabama area or willing to relocate. Remote applicants must be available to travel up to 75%.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Establishing guidance, direction, and providing program leadership for Construction Management activities.
• Advising and implementing solutions to Program-level technical and contractual challenges to maintain construction progress.
• Supporting development of key performance indicators for program success, including safety, quality control, schedule, and financial performance metrics.
• Coordinating with key program stakeholders.
• Managing all internal project phases for successful execution, including planning, recruiting, mobilization, sustainment, and program execution.
• Identifying design and construction risks along with project-specific mitigation strategies.
• Assessing present and future program needs, trends, and challenges; determining resources required to meet project objectives.
• Mobilizing company resources to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
• Monitoring and reporting the progress of all project activity within the program.
• Providing oversight of the program and performance to meet financial, schedule, deliverable, and safety targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering or CM preferred). Master’s degree preferred.
• Must possess an active secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
• 20+ years of broad and diversified experience related to Owner’s Agent PM/CM services, including large, complex projects/programs.
• Significant Progressive Design Build experience.
• Experience on major new Construction projects with a constructed value of over $250M (Over $500M is preferred).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced leadership skills with the ability to perform in a Senior management capacity.
• Proven ability to manage a large group of personnel within the field of expertise.
• Expert knowledge of standard practices for Construction Management.
• Demonstrated ability to assess risk areas and risk mitigation across different contract types.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI level clearance is preferred.
• Professional Registration as PE or RA is preferred.
• Certification as PMP and/or CCM is preferred.
• Certification of OSHA safety requirements on construction projects (OSHA 10/OSHA 30).
• Certification of USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management (CQM).
