Nurse Practitioner - Behavioral Health / Long-Term Care (PMHNP or NP with Psychiatric Experience)

Location

South Arkansas (Crossett and Monticello, and surrounding areas)

Schedule

Full-Time or Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
• Assess and manage depression, anxiety, dementia-related behaviors, and other behavioral health conditions
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Maintain EMR documentation and treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and facility leadership
• Travel between assigned facilities throughout the week as needed

Qualifications

• PMHNP preferred; other NP backgrounds considered if comfortable managing psychiatric patients
• DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Experience in psychiatry, geriatrics, long-term care, primary care, or related settings preferred
• Ability to work independently with clinical support available

Compensation and Perks

• Annual earnings range from $105,000 to $190,000, with opportunity to earn more based on schedule and patient volume

A client of AlphaStaffHCM™ is searching for a Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric experience to provide behavioral health services to nursing home and long-term care residents throughout South Arkansas. The organization supplies patient caseloads, administrative support, credentialing assistance, and access to psychiatrist consultation when needed.
