Job Title:  Sr. Designer Location-Type: NYC Hybrid Start Date Is : ASAP Duration: 8 Month Contract Compensation Range : $45-49/hr Benefits : Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

We're seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join a leading cultural and arts organization in NYC. This role will develop innovative, concept-driven creative across digital, print, campaigns, OOH, events, and other brand touchpoints.

What You'll Do

• Own projects from brief and concept through final execution, working autonomously while collaborating with internal stakeholders and creative partners.
• Develop marketing and brand campaigns that extend consistently across multiple channels, formats, and audiences.
• Build and evolve scalable design systems, templates, and sub-brand identities.
• Create polished work across digital and print, with a strong emphasis on typography, composition, hierarchy, and visual consistency.
• Present concepts and clearly articulate creative rationale, responding thoughtfully to feedback and evolving priorities.
• Conceptualize motion through storyboards and creative direction; hands-on After Effects experience is a plus but not required.

What We're Looking For

• 4–6 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with strong marketing/brand campaign experience.
• Agency background is ideal
• Portfolio showcasing full campaigns from concept through execution 
• Exceptional typography and strong command of core design fundamentals.
• Demonstrated ability to take a concept from initial idea through a cohesive multi-channel campaign.
• Strong Figma expertise, including experience creating presentations, scalable templates, and/or design systems.
• Experience across both digital and print.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders with minimal direction.
• Confident, proactive, collaborative, and receptive to feedback.
