Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of diesel engines and heavy equipment systems. Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair electrical systems in diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Perform engine performance and drivability assessments to ensure optimal operation.
- Service and repair diesel engine systems, including light vehicle diesel engines.
- Inspect and maintain brake and suspension systems for safety and performance.
- Conduct thorough inspections of suspension and steering components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components.
- Utilize equipment diagnostics tools to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Repair mechanical systems and components to restore functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Proven experience as a Mobile Diesel Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems diagnostics and repair.
- Expertise in engine performance and drivability assessments.
- Familiarity with diesel engine systems and light vehicle diesel engines.
- Experience with brake and suspension systems, as well as suspension and steering components.
- Proficient in hydraulic systems and components diagnostics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
This is a field based role: the work happens at customer and job sites rather than at a single worksite, and you will be based within driving distance of the job location traveling by company take-home vehicle. Expect day shift hours with weekends off.
