Cardiac Imaging Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. No weekends or call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Imaging Technologist to join our team at a beautiful location on the Jersey Shore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in myocardial imaging, with experience using GE and Siemens equipment. The position offers a dynamic work environment with a manageable patient load of 8-10 cases per day.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac imaging procedures, including exercise and pharmacological stress tests.
• Administer adenosine and persantine infusions as needed.
• Utilize EPIC charting for patient records and documentation.
• Maintain safety and compliance with handling of radioactive materials.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac imaging.
• Active NJ state license and ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of myocardial imaging techniques.
