We currently have a 36 bed Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, High Risk Antepartum, 7 bed triage, and 2 Operating Rooms and are designated a Baby Friendly Institution. This position focuses on the triage area. We invite you to listen to a message from our CNO who shares what it’s like to be part of Team HMH at Jersey Shore University Medical Center: Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire A minimum of 2 years or greater in maternal child services in a hospital setting including experience in labor and delivery, high-risk antepartum patients, postpartum, and well-baby nursery is preferred. Obstetrical triage experience is a plus BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire ACLS preferred, must obtain within 6 months NRP preferred, must obtain within 6 months Inpatient Obstetrics and/or External Fetal Monitoring Certification is a plus The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
