Learn more about us at carrierenterprise.com.In the Branch Sales Associate role, you will be the face of our branch, providing exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and support to HVAC/R professionals and contractors who visit our location. Your enthusiasm for the industry, excellent communication skills, and commitment to delivering top-notch customer service will be key to your success. This position is eligible for monthly performance-based bonuses and incentives.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and provide expert advice, product information, and recommendations to help them find the right HVAC/R products and supplies for their needs.Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all requested items are available, properly priced, and invoiced correctly.Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC/R product inventory, including specifications, compatibility, and pricing.Monitor and replenish floor stock, conduct regular inventory counts, and report discrepancies to the Branch Manager.Assist customers in troubleshooting and finding solutions to technical issues related to HVAC/R equipment and components.Promote sales initiatives and special offers while identifying opportunities to upsell products when appropriate.Provide warehouse operations support, including receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming merchandise.Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and product organization.Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with company policies and procedures.Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized counter and warehouse environment.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsPrevious experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the HVAC/R industry or a related field.Strong knowledge of HVAC/R products, equipment, and components.Excellent customer service skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with computerized sales and inventory management systems.Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to access products and supplies.May need to operate a forklift; prior forklift certification preferred.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.One (1) year of customer service experience.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsHealth InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition Reimbursement and Professional Development OpportunitiesPaid Vacation and Sick TimeCompany-Paid Holidays401(k) Plan with Employer MatchEmployee Discount ProgramCompany-Paid Volunteer Time OffInvitation to ApplyWhether you're looking for full-time or part-time opportunities, we'd love to have you join our team.
