Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night and Day 3x12-Hour shifts are available.

• Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
• Day Shift: 07:00 - 19:00

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in PCU/Stepdown to provide high-quality care to patients. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications including various drips, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and drips including insulin, nicardipine, dexmedetomidine, and nitroglycerin.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans.
• Participate in professional development and training as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a PCU/Stepdown setting.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Charge experience is preferred.
