Here are the details: Position Overview Role : OB/GYN Physician (Locum Tenens) Location : Near Turner, Oregon Start Date : February 1, 2025 Duration : Ongoing need, with potential extension beyond March Availability : Flexible; two weeks per month preferred Coverage Details Schedule : Primarily 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Call : Beeper call; in-house presence not required but recommended due to frequent activity Setting : Both outpatient and inpatient Holidays Included : New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Practice Requirements Certifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN BLS certification required Support Staff : 7 Registered Nurses (RNs) 1 Medical Assistant (MA) Supervision : Required for Advanced Practice Providers Patient Care Responsibilities Patients per Shift : Approximately 20 Annual Deliveries : Approximately 312 Specialty Skills Required : Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and II) Routine and complicated deliveries, including VBACs, C-sections, and multiple births Gynecological procedures: IUD insertions, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, and minor office procedures Surgical gynecology, including tubal ligation, cystectomy, and laparoscopic procedures Facility Information EMR System : Epic Privileges : Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges not available Trauma Level : Level II Additional Details Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 90 days Travel and Lodging : Vendor-provided insurance; nearby lodging recommendations available Compensation : Competitive locum rates, dependent on experience and availability Why This Opportunity?
