Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group in the OR according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Circulate during surgical procedures: maintain sterile field, anticipate needs, and assist the surgical team and anesthesia personnel
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff in the OR, coordinating care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document perioperative care, and communicate clearly to ensure continuity and patient safety
- Uphold infection control practices, safety standards, and accurate handoffs to the postoperative team

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- BLS certification required
- OR circulating experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Ability to work day shifts in a hospital OR environment; available for a travel assignment
