We are seeking a  detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk with experience in  fresh produce and Famous Software to join our operations team in McAllen, TX.

This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring product quality in a fast-paced produce environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming produce shipments for accuracy and quality
• Enter and manage inventory in  Famous Software
• Prepare shipping documents including BOLs, invoices, and packing lists
• Coordinate outbound shipments with drivers and internal teams
• Monitor product condition, temperature, and compliance upon arrival
• Track inventory, lot codes, and ensure proper product rotation (FIFO/FEFO)
• Communicate discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization

Requirements

• Experience with Famous Software (required)
• 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, preferably in fresh produce
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling imported produce
• Forklift experience or certification
• Familiarity with cold storage and food safety practices

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting (including refrigerated areas)
• Physically active role (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking)
