Job Description Step into a specialized Labor & Delivery unit where you’ll work across 17 beds including OR suites designated for C-Sections, triage, postpartum, and high-risk laboring patients. This role demands a nurse who is confident in performing vaginal exams, internal monitor placements, and managing high-risk cases independently. You’ll circulate and recover your own C-Section patients, with opportunities to float to postpartum and other units as needed. The environment is fast-paced, requiring adaptability and clinical expertise, especially since you will titrate drips such as Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin. A welcoming team of Certified Surgical Techs and secretaries support the unit, and in-house Neonatology and Anesthesia are available 24/7. Your shift will be 12-hour days, offering a unique chance to experience a high-acuity setting with a focus on maternal and neonatal care.
