We're seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Bowie, MD . This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping residents regain mobility, improve strength, and maximize independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.
Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist residents with gait training, balance, strength, mobility, and functional activities
Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques
Complete timely and accurate documentation
Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
