We are recruiting for an established, growing global manufacturer seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager for its Anderson, South Carolina facility.

Must be a US citizen

This is a key leadership position overseeing approximately 250 employees across three shifts , with responsibility for Production, Production Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, Technical Resources, and Continuous Improvement.

You'll report directly to the General Manager and be positioned as a potential successor as the company plans for its next generation of leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $160,000–$180,000

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead daily plant operations across three shifts and multiple departments.
• Oversee Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, Scheduling, and Continuous Improvement.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.
• Improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage operating budgets, capital investments, staffing, and plant resources.
• Partner with Engineering and Maintenance on equipment upgrades, tooling, and capital projects.
• Develop department leaders and build a strong, accountable management team.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, ISO, IATF, and applicable environmental and safety standards.
• Work closely with the General Manager on operational strategy and long-term growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Background in automotive manufacturing, motor vehicle parts, plastics manufacturing, injection molding, blow molding, or a closely related manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing multiple plant functions, not just production.
• Proven success leading teams, improving operational performance, and managing costs.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and manufacturing KPIs.

Highly Preferred:

• Experience in automotive plastics, injection molding, or blow molding.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Experience managing a multi-shift manufacturing facility.
• Capital project, maintenance, tooling, and engineering leadership experience.
• Current or previous title of Plant Manager, Plant Director, Operations Manager, General Manager, Senior Production Manager, or Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
