Brand Ambassador

Marketing AmbassadorThis role reports directly to the OWA Marketing Department and is vital to successfully driving revenue, building brand awareness, and creating unforgettable guest experiences. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Educate guests on OWA's brand, amenities, and promotionsHave friendly, positive, and informative interactions; engage with guests of all agesPerform as one of our costume characters, such as Tuki the Toucan, and provide guests service through performance, silent gestures, and character posesAnswer brand-related questions for guests by providing excellent brand knowledgePromote OWA to increase sales, brand awareness, and build guest loyaltyTrack performance of inventory and collect guests' feedbackMaintain communication with supervisors; answer texts and emails in a timely mannerTransport booth and materials to event locations; set up/break down booth at the beginning and end of shiftStore and secure company property when not in useAssist social media team by capturing and sharing photos/videos of consumers interacting with the brandAdhere to brand standards on all marketing programsAbility to learn subject matter related to OWA and speak confidently/professionally in public settingsProvide guests' feedback on the brand; share new ideas with supervisorConsistently perform costume maintenance to ensure operational, show-ready conditionPerform all other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS :Must be 18 years of age or olderCandidate must be 5'6"- 5'11" for this position due to costume fitmentMust have a high school diploma or equivalentMust possess a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record; required for company auto insurancePrefer a candidate that is pursuing or has obtained a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related fieldAble to perform both indoors and outdoors in full costumeWork effectively in a hot and claustrophobic costume environmentAble to walk and stand for long periods of timePhysically able to balance, stoop, kneel, sit, crouch and stand as needed to perform dutiesDisplay good nonverbal communication skills needed to bring the character to lifeAbility to read social cues to help understand the level of interaction guests are comfortable withMust be willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be willing to travel to off-site events within a 300-mile radius of Foley, ALMust be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume work environmentStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently without supervision, be self-directed, and demonstrate initiativeMust be able to lift items up to 25 lbsAble to work outdoors in sunny, hot, humid, cold, and rainy conditions
