Traveler Nurse

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Local Radius Rule: No locals -- All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license). Winter Holidays: Traveler will be required to work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day). Limit of 1 day request off between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers, regardless of hours worked. Orientation Schedule: 11/9

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of previous Med Surg RN experience [required]
• At least 1 travel contract completed [preferred]
• Must be comfortable with neuro patients and surgical patients within the medical surgical unit
• BLS [required]
• NIHSS [required]
