Make a meaningful impact as a licensed Special Education Teacher supporting students in a rewarding in-person role. We’re seeking an Intervention Specialist eager to help K–12 students thrive academically and socially. What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Ohio Teaching License as an Intervention Specialist (K–12, Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive)
- Successful completion of state-required background checks (BCI & FBI fingerprint clearance)
- Commitment to a full-time, on-site position through May 24, 2027
- Solid experience with the IEP process—including developing, implementing, and managing individualized plans
- Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative, student-focused attitude
Your Primary Duties:
- Design and deliver adaptive curriculum tailored to individual learning needs
- Oversee IEP case management, tracking student progress and communicating with families and the multi-disciplinary team
- Maintain documentation and compliance according to state and district standards
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that encourages student confidence and independence
- Work collaboratively with instructional staff, building principal, and Director of Student Services
Experience a Schedule That Supports Work-Life Balance:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:55 PM
- 37.5 hours per week (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) on a standard school calendar
- Meaningful, consistent interactions with students requiring your expertise
