Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule: Full-time preferred (Part-time candidates will also be considered)

Employment Type: School-Based Contract
Pay Rate: Starting at $50/hour (dependent on experience)

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K12 students in a school-based setting in Stuart, Florida for the 20262027 school year .

This opportunity is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve academic success through evidence-based therapy and collaborative educational support.

The district is seeking a full-time SLP but is also open to considering part-time candidates . Clinicians will be assigned to 12 school sites , with placement determined by district needs while taking the candidate's preference into consideration whenever possible.

• School Year: August 3, 2026 May 26, 2027

• K12 caseload

• Full-time preferred (part-time applicants encouraged to apply)

• Caseload averages 6070 students

• Approximately 3,6004,200 service minutes per week

• Assignment at 12 schools , based on district needs and candidate preference

• Collaborative support from Lead SLPs and multidisciplinary teams

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K12 students.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) .

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services through push-in and pull-out service delivery models.

• Manage a caseload averaging 6070 students while maintaining quality, individualized services.

• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, progress reports, Medicaid documentation (when applicable), and compliance records.

• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, staff meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success.

• Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies to address articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and other communication disorders.

• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district special education regulations.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology License required.

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

• Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered depending on district needs.

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to effectively manage a diverse K12 caseload.

• School-based setting serving students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

• Assignment at 12 school locations .

• Collaborative environment with Lead SLPs, teachers, special education staff, administrators, and related service providers.
