Description

• Assess and understand patients' needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings, developing tailored treatment plans
• Carry out effective physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to elevate patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families in understanding therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with institutional policies
• Engage in multidisciplinary care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to support cohesive care delivery

Education

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
