Radiation Therapist

Job Summary Provide high‑quality radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment. Key Responsibilities Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to physician's orders. Perform daily quality assurance procedures and equipment checks. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to treatment and report to the physician. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress in the EMR system. Educate patients and families about the treatment process and potential side effects. Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain competency in radiation therapy techniques and equipment. Schedule / Shift 8 hours within the hours of 0700-1630. Weekends: None. Holidays: None. Call: None. Required Qualifications Board Certified Radiation Therapist. Valid Radiation Therapist license. BLS certification. Experience 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist. Experience with Varian products, including Aria and align RT. Skills Proficient in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery. Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols. Excellent patient assessment and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
