Director Of Business Development

This is an award-winning architecture and engineering firm known for projects that blend creativity and technical skill. Over the past decade, the firm has grown steadily, largely driven by long-term client relationships and referrals.The team is expanding, and they are looking for a Director of Business Development to help guide their growth in architectural renovations and large-scale restoration projects.
What you'll be doing:
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and projects, coordinating with internal teams to support growth
Track and report on key performance metrics, sales targets, and lead conversion rates
Work with leadership to refine business development strategies and go-to-market plans
Develop and present proposals that highlight the firm’s services and approach
Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Conduct client needs assessments and identify ways to expand services with existing clients
Partner with marketing on campaigns, client-specific collateral, and outreach initiatives
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity
Support branding and PR efforts to raise the firm’s visibility in the design and restoration sectors
What we're looking for:
10+ years of experience in business development or sales
Strong understanding of the NYC property management and/or real estate development market
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Proficient in CRM (Pipedrive or Salesforce), marketing analytics, and design tools (InDesign, Photoshop
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Experience with government or large institutional projects is a plus
