In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. You will be responsible for recording the locations of vehicles in the lot, shuffling unit locations for accessibility to production needs. You will also assist in updating vehicle inventory status in Excede to represent current location. Do the right thing, every time.Competitive benefits including health insurance, paid holidays, and vacation payContinuous training to provide you the opportunity to develop your full potential and be a true business partnerAccess to an expansive network of mentors and networking opportunitiesTop quality technology to assist in your daily responsibilities to allow for more efficiencies to deliver outstanding customer serviceBelow is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:Update Excede Unit Inventory status and locations daily and in real timeDevelop and daily maintain vehicle location log Track vehicle by location and parking spotDevelop Shipping RowDevelop Receiving RowDevelop Short Hold AreaUpdate DailyNotify service writers daily of new vehicle deliveriesDevelop and maintain daily a Production Area, allowing vehicles quick accessible to the service shop.Perform final inspection of vehicle and obtain signature for release of vehicleConfirm vehicle VIN number with BOL and make sure vehicle is being delivered to correct address and VIN matches BOLInspect all vehicles for damages including windshield and tires. Damages need to be documented on BOL and driver needs to acknowledge.Communicate any damages or discrepancy to service writer, foreman and supervisor and add a line on Repair Order.After receiving new bus, update External Status on Repair Order to "PARTS REVIEW".Pull up vehicles when ready for shipping and make sure buses are cleaned and detailed.Responsible for all vehicle inventory, at the location once a month.Have all DEMO vehicles ready for DEMO.Responsible for tracking and maintain vehicle keys and dealer plates.Maintain Demo and Sales Vehicles, ensuring vehicles are clean and presentable to customersEnsure all batteries are disconnected when parkedEnsure all vehicles are ran every 30 days, per Ford QVM guidelinesEnsure fire extinguishers are installed throughout parking lot and maintained properlyDocument location of vehicle in the bus yard utilizing the parking diagramPerform final inspection of vehicle and obtain signature for release of vehicleFollow safety policies and work in a safe orderly mannerOther duties as assignedMinimum Job Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent and two years general office experienceExcellent attention to detail and follow up skillsCDL required, with passenger endorsement Clean DMV recordWillingness and ability to work as a team playerStrong verbal and written communication skillsGeneral knowledge of office practices and proceduresSelf-starter, highly motivated and exhibits great initiativeComputer literate (Word, Excel)Physical Requirements:May be required to do frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position.Must have good manual dexterityMust have the ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs.18-20$
