What You’ll Be Doing Solving Complex Problems: Analyzing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery. Technical Expertise: Reading electrical blueprints, using multimeters, and troubleshooting PLC systems and industrial motor controls. Advanced Maintenance: Performing preventive and predictive maintenance, calibrations, and root cause analysis to minimize downtime. Shop Skills: Operating equipment like band saws, mills, and lathes, while maintaining chillers, compressors, and pumps. Who We Are Looking For Experience: You have industrial manufacturing or military experience repairing and maintaining equipment. Tech Savvy: You possess PLC troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of industrial motor controls. Physical Readiness: Comfortable with ladders, lifts, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities Understand and follow plant safety rules including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safe machine operation. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications, and technical data. Work on motors, contactors, and relays using a multimeter to verify component functionality. Operate advanced shop equipment such as band saws, mills, and lathes. Maintain chillers, process pumps, compressors, ink pumps, and glue pumps. Analyze and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues. Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls and PLC systems. Perform preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration with minimal downtime. Diagnose root causes of production equipment failures and determine best corrective action. Document parts used and repairs completed in CMMS. Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and parts room organization. Perform repairs on plant production and facility equipment. Participate in Global Performance System (GPS) activities including audits, pillar teams, and near misses. Maintain safe operational conditions of all production and related equipment. Use required personal protective equipment. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Working up to 7 hours of overtime per week.
