Store Supervisor - California Stores

#23-090 Job Description Store Supervisor (full time, benefits eligible) to support all aspects of store operations and ensure customers receive excellent service. Our stores are open Monday–Saturday 9:30 AM–6:30 PM; closed on Sundays. What You’ll Do Manage store operations as assigned by Manager and assume full operational control in Manager’s absence. Assist in hiring, training, and development of all associates. Work and train all positions in both the front and back of the house. Perform administrative functions such as banking and scheduling. Coach associates using established processes and tools, including Huddles, Observation checklists, and Ham Evaluations. Execute store opening/closing procedures and submit daily/weekly reports. Manage/monitor labor and adjust store staffing based on business demands. Monitor production and sales efficiencies, including wait times, yields, and product quality. Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed, including hand dip, hair nets, gloves, and aprons; oversee proper use of equipment; monitor stocking and cleanup duties. Ensure FIFO rotation of all product in FOH and BOH, including unproduced and produced hams and turkeys. Handle complaints to achieve 100% customer satisfaction according to company policy. Participate in catering and gifting sales and fulfillment for all B2B and catering processes. Lead merchandising transitions from promotion to promotion and ensure proper holiday and non‑holiday set up. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. 2 years of restaurant or service industry experience desirable and prior supervisory experience recommended. Good understanding of production facility operations (1–2 years work experience). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for catering orders/deliveries. Store Supervisor pay ranges from $17 to $21 per hour, depending on experience. Other Things to Know Physical dexterity and mobility are required to perform the demands of the job, which may include working with a hot torch. Requires bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting and lifting products and supplies, some of which may be up to 65 lb.
