Sustainability Digital Technology Senior Specialist - Data & AI

Accountabilities:

• Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of Data & AI products supporting sustainability, ESG reporting, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, governance, and consumption while ensuring data quality and compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and standards.
• Develop data models, semantic layers, and knowledge frameworks that enable reliable reporting, analytics, and auditability across sustainability domains.
• Design and implement data consumption solutions, including APIs, dashboards, business intelligence reports, and custom analytics applications.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, data scientists, product managers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-value digital products.
• Analyze and document data requirements across multiple enterprise systems to support downstream reporting, operational processes, and business intelligence.
• Provide technical leadership by promoting modern engineering practices, AI-assisted development , and continuous improvement across project teams.
• Contribute to Agile product delivery by supporting solution design, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing platform optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM-related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience , including at least 6 years focused on data engineering, analytics, or enterprise data platform development .
• Strong expertise in SQL , data modeling, ELT processes, and large-scale data engineering solutions.
• Hands-on experience with distributed data processing technologies such as Apache Spark , MPP databases, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms, including Databricks or equivalent technologies.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization solutions, APIs, and enterprise reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting, sustainability data, regulatory compliance frameworks, or governance standards is highly desirable.
• Experience with Agile methodologies , CI/CD practices , AI-assisted software development , and modern engineering workflows.
• Understanding of user experience methodologies such as Design Thinking, prototyping, wireframing, and user journey mapping is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary global teams.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring technical teams, resolving complex challenges, and delivering high-quality data solutions.
