Floor Tech/CustodianWe're looking for a full-time Floor Tech/Custodian to help maintain the cleanliness of our vibrant senior living community. This includes using specialized equipment on floors and carpets, cleaning building areas and surfaces, setting up rooms for events, trash removal, and assisting with moving heavy objects.Full-time (40 hours) & Part-time (32 hours) Day & Evening shifts availableMA Drivers License and clear 3 year verifiable driving history required.Full-time position Compensation: commensurate with experience $18.25 - 21.00/ hour and shift differentialsWhat we offerA culture of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging, which builds on our mission, vision and valuesMedical, dental and vision packages, including an annual reimbursement for qualified wellness expenses, personal health coaching and telemedicine optionsPTO Plans, PLUS company paid volunteer hours for eligible team members, in accordance with applicable state law401k for all team members 18 and over with a company 3% matchOnsite medical centers, providing wellness visits and sick care for all team members over 18 years of age30% discount on food and drinks at on-site dining venues, plus additional healthy choice meal options at discounted pricesGrowth Opportunities – grow with the company as we open new communities and expand on our existing ones!How you will make an impactMaintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, buffing and waxingMaintain carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, vacuumingClean vertical surfaces such as doors, walls, or windows.Remove trash including refuse and recycling by following procedures utilizing compactors, trucks, and cartsMove and arrange furniture in the community common spaces and offices, as well as in residential apartmentsDeliver residents items to and from storage, vehicles, apartments or other areas.Operate housekeeping equipment/vehicles in a safe manner.What you will needCurrent and valid driver's licenseAbility to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the communityPrevious experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferredMay require a CDL class B, with air brake endorsement.Must have a current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner's Certificate.Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
