This role includes structured pay progression based on reliability, mastery of mechanical systems, and excellence in supporting safe and efficient facility operations.ObjectiveThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipment and facilities owned or leased by Richmond Fitness, Inc. Noise levels in certain areas may be loud.Physical DemandsThis position is physically active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Regular talking and hearing are required.Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkFull-time position Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a required 30-minute lunch break.TravelConsiderable travel between facilities, vendors, customers, and other locations is required. A mileage-based travel allowance is provided. Must provide an adequate vehicle for transporting parts and supplies.Required Education and ExperienceMinimum three years commercial building maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, building systems, fittings, and structural repairSuccessful completion of state-approved HVAC training (may be waived if incumbent agrees to begin training in the next available class after hire)EPA Universal CertificationOther DutiesUse of aerial work platforms is required.
