Key Responsibilities Lead interior design projects through programming, space planning, concept development, design development, documentation, and construction administration. Develop innovative design solutions for commercial, mixed-use, and multifamily environments. Produce and coordinate accurate Revit models, construction documents, plans, elevations, details, and schedules. Select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, materials, lighting, and architectural elements. Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients throughout each project phase. Lead client presentations, design reviews, project meetings, and internal coordination sessions. Manage project schedules, deliverables, design quality, and documentation standards. Review submittals, respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, and support construction administration. Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative studio culture. Maintain awareness of relevant building codes, accessibility requirements, material performance, and industry trends. Required Qualifications 8-12 years of professional interior design experience in an architecture, interiors, or multidisciplinary design firm. Demonstrated experience with commercial, mixed-use, or multifamily projects. Advanced proficiency in Revit for design development, modeling, documentation, and project coordination. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field. Strong portfolio showing concept development, space planning, material selection, technical documentation, and completed projects. Thorough understanding of construction methods, building systems, codes, accessibility standards, and finish specifications. Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and client-management skills. Proven ability to lead multiple projects while maintaining design quality, schedules, and deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment. Preferred Qualifications NCIDQ certification or active progress toward certification. Experience leading project teams and mentoring emerging design professionals. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Bluebeam, or comparable visualization and documentation platforms.
