Job Title: CT/Xray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: New York License required upon start Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), IV certified Must-Have: Proficiency in EPIC Description: Must have a New York license upon start. Shift is Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Rotating weekends will be required to cover vacations. On-call duty will also be required on a rotating basis. Floating to other units is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are accepted, within a 50-mile radius. Required charting system experience in EPIC. Candidates must possess ARRT(R) certification. Skills in 3D rendering, including maximum intensity projection and volume rendering, are necessary. Experience with various imaging modalities, including abdomen, chest, head, and vascular CTA, is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with preparation and administration of contrast media and radiation safety protocols. Additional skills in multiplanar reconstruction and PACS are beneficial. Candidates must have a background in patient care and clinical procedures relevant to radiology. This position requires adherence to safety precautions and standards.
