If you have a strong background in managing hourly production teams, driving efficiency, and maintaining food safety standards like GMP, HACCP, and SQF, this is your opportunity to lead in a fast-growing company known for quality and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate daily food manufacturing operations across all shifts.Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF food safety standards at all times.Plan and manage shift scheduling, staffing, and labor resources based on production demands.Oversee inventory management to ensure materials are available and aligned with production schedules.Partner with the maintenance team to support preventive maintenance and reduce equipment downtime.Motivate and supervise hourly production staff, fostering a high-performance, safety-focused culture.Monitor performance metrics and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimize efficiency.Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Planning, Sanitation, HR, and Logistics.Maintain accurate production reports, labor records, and compliance documentation.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in a Production Manager role within food manufacturing (required)Demonstrated success managing hourly shift teams in a fast-paced production environmentStrong understanding of food safety programs (GMP, HACCP, SQF)Proficiency in inventory planning, shift scheduling, and labor optimizationExperience in implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processesWorking knowledge of ERP or production software; strong Microsoft Office skillsBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent hands-on manufacturing leadership experiencePosition Details:Shift Coverage: All shiftsLocation: On-site in Haverhill, MASchedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday with flexibility for weekends and extended hoursJoin a Legacy of QualityAt Cedar’s, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality products loved nationwide.
