TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Yuma, Arizona, 85364!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse; 1 year in specialty License: State License Required Certifications: BLS Required; ACLS Preferred Must-Have: Epic EMR proficiency required. Trauma level I/II hospital experience required. Ability to manage a nurse-patient ratio of 1:5-6 during the day and 1:6 at night. Experience in managing patients with medical conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, radiation therapy, AKI, and post-operative care for laparoscopic cholecystectomy and appendectomy. Description: 100-mile radius rule applies. No guaranteed hours for 48-hour shifts. No blocked scheduling requests permitted. No more than 5 days of request time off allowed. The unit has 90 double occupancy beds. Charge Nurse may take assignments if needed. Patient Care Assistants are available, with an average of 8-12 patients per nurse. Bipap and stable trach equipment is present on the unit. Dedicated monitor tech available; travelers are not required to read telemetry. Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Holiday requirements typically include working 2 out of 3 holidays. Call requirements are low census on call. Floating may occur to low acuity areas. Scrub color is navy blue. Cancellation policy allows for client cancellation of hours equivalent to the weekly guaranteed hours for the duration of the assignment. Charting system used is Epic.
