Field Asset Protection Auditor/Specialist

Field Asset Protection Auditor/Specialist Pay Range: $50.99hr - $54.99hr The Field Asset Protection Auditor/Specialist will support asset protection and operations programs focused on reducing shrink, preventing fraud, ensuring compliance, and strengthening store security practices. The role includes investigations, audits, training, and collaboration with regional and store leadership to mitigate risk and improve operational integrity. Requirement/Must Have: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 6+ years of audit experience. 6+ years of investigation experience with case closure. 2+ years of supervisory experience in Asset Protection (APA/APS). Strong knowledge of physical security systems including alarms, EAS systems, and covert camera applications. Strong analytical and independent decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to supervise, train, and motivate teams. Experience: Experience conducting internal and external investigations including organized retail crime (ORC) cases. Experience performing business evaluations and compliance assessments. Experience supporting retail operations, inventory control, and POS systems preferred. Experience delivering training programs for field and store teams. Experience collaborating with regional management and leadership teams. Responsibilities: Support development and implementation of asset protection and operations programs including shrink reduction, security, and fraud prevention. Lead investigations into suspected internal or external dishonesty and illegal activities. Conduct business evaluations and compliance audits. Provide training and guidance to regional managers and store teams on asset protection practices. Identify, investigate, and close ORC cases impacting the organization. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across field operations. Assist in developing and delivering training programs for asset protection and operations. Partner with operations and associate relations teams as needed. Provide insights to leadership on loss prevention opportunities and risks. Address and implement corrective training initiatives based on audit findings. Should Have: Certification such as CFE, CPP, or AMA preferred. Completion of investigative training programs such as Reid or Wicklander-Zulawski preferred. Strong understanding of retail operations and inventory control. Experience with multi-store or field operations environments. Skills: Asset protection and loss prevention. Retail investigations and ORC case management. Audit and compliance management.
