The Opportunity
This role offers a dynamic opportunity to travel within an assigned territory to drive business growth by developing and implementing sales strategies. You will play a vital role in identifying new customers and pursuing further solutions with existing accounts. The primary focus is acquiring new business by designing, presenting, and negotiating customer solutions with a strong emphasis on new equipment and warehouse solutions.

Location
This is a hybrid position that requires up to 90% local regional travel. The role involves traveling by personal car to prospective and current customer locations throughout the Florida and Georgia markets, depending on your assigned territory.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in your assigned territory by presenting impactful solutions for new, used, battery, electric, and specialty warehouse equipment.
• Plan a daily schedule and routing to travel by personal car to prospective and current customer locations.
• Target and convert new A/B customers through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and persistent follow-up planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with current customers to identify business needs and offer product improvements using professional technical knowledge.
• Develop creative and tailored client proposals that identify and solve customer pain points.
• Perform and present cost-benefit and needs analysis studies as evidence to validate customer needs.
• Create various financing options and terms to help customers confidently agree to payment for purchased solutions, and negotiate contracts, prices, and terms.
• Consistently track, meet, and exceed sales goals and quotas aligned with company objectives.

Who You Are

• Two to 5 years of experience in industrial equipment sales or a similar industry.
• A proven track record in growing sales volume, with B2B outside sales experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial powered equipment and the material handling industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Superb customer service and interpersonal skills to network effectively and build relationships with a wide variety of people.
• Strong familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and superior attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift up to 20 lbs and physical endurance to be on your feet for long hours or drive for extended periods.

Education & Qualifications
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

Flexibility & Work-Life Integration

• Work Structure: This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of desk work and significant regional field travel. Any hybrid work is granted based on performance and company policy.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, working within set business hours to support internal and external customers.
• Environment: The role involves prolonged periods of sitting and driving in light to heavy traffic (roughly 80% of the day), as well as occasional exposure to outdoor warehouse environments, moving machinery, and moderate noise.
