As a Security Officer Credential Screening in VALRICO, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will monitor entry points, verify visitors and credentials, support residents and guests, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor, contractor, and/or delivery access in accordance with community guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activity as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Communicate with residents, property staff, and/or emergency personnel regarding access issues, policy questions, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
