Position Overview:
Seeking a Pediatrician for a medical center in Fort Stewart, Hinesville, Georgia.

Requirements:
~ Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree
~ Completed Pediatrics Residency
~ Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
~ Current, full, active, unrestricted medical license
~ BLS and Pediatrics ACLS certification
~ Minimum of 12 months experience within the last 36 months

Benefits:
~ $93 per hour salary
~ Vacation, PTO, and Federal Holidays

Schedule:
~ Full-time position
~ 8-hour shift between 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding Federal and Training Holidays unless on-call)
~ Non-paid lunch break up to 60 minutes, scheduled by department chief or designee
~ Duty hours may change to support extended clinic hours and weekends; preapproval required for overtime beyond 40 hours|week
~ On-call shifts scheduled by Department|Clinic Chief; 12 to 24 hours based on provider choice

Responsibilities:
~ Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries
~ Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
~ Collect, record, and maintain patient information and histories
~ Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and specialized care
~ Explain procedures, test results, and treatments to patients and families
~ Monitor patient conditions and progress
~ Direct, consult with, and refer patients to medical staff including nurses, specialists, and therapists
~ Advise patients and guardians on diet, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention
~ Conduct research and stay updated on latest developments in Pediatrics
