Base pay range $18.50/hr - $25.00/hr Location: Denver, Colorado, USA Employment type: Full-time Responsibilities Acknowledge and greet patients, customers, and vendors as they walk into the practice in a friendly and welcoming manner Answer and respond to telephone inquiries in a professional and timely manner Schedule appointments Gather patients and insurance information Verify and enter patient demographics into the EMR, ensuring all fields are complete Verify vision and medical insurance information and enter into the EMR Maintain a clear understanding of insurance plans and communicate insurance information to patients Pull schedules to ensure insurance eligibility prior to patient appointments and ensure files are complete Prepare insurance claims and run reports to ensure all charges are billed and filed Print and prepare forms for patient visits Collect and document all charges, co-pays, and payments into the EMR Allocate balances to insurance as needed Maintain a clean workspace Practice economy in the use of equipment and supplies Perform other duties as needed and as assigned by the manager Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer literacy Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Must be able to maintain patient and practice confidentiality Benefits 401(k) with Match Medical/Dental/Life/STD/LTD Vision Service Plan Employee Vision Discount Program
