What You'll Do:

• Assist in advanced cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including CABGs, robotic thoracic, and chest cases
• Work closely with a dedicated surgical team supporting adult patients in a high-volume cardiac surgery environment
• Participate in endoscopic vein harvesting and serve as a first assist in surgeries
• Collaborate with the advanced heart failure team on LVAD and Impella placements
• Document procedures and patient care efficiently using EPIC EMR systems
• Support staff including dedicated office PA and RNs in daily operations and patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards across all procedures

What You Need:

• Valid NC state license and board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a surgical setting
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience and first assist capabilities
• DEA registration
• Strong skills in cardiothoracic surgery procedures and patient management
• Vaccinations as required by hospital protocol
