Hallmark Field Merchandiser (Part-Time) – Humble, TX Job Category : Sales and Sales Operations Requisition Number : HALLM008957 Locations: Showing 1 location GMS HUMBLE TX, 17900 W LAKE HOUSTON PKWY, HUMBLE, TX 77346-3881, USA Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, your ability to establish retailer relationships, while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels as well as support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, when needed. On occasion you may have the opportunity to work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service. Responsibilities Day-to-day engagement : Restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department using a mobile device provided by Hallmark. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and respond to surveys for merchandising activities. Maintain professional and courteous interactions with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. Holiday support : Seasonal demand means additional days and extended hours around holidays (e.g., Valentine\u2019s Day, Easter, Mother\u2019s Day, Father\u2019s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). You may be required to work on holidays, which may include weekends. Department Resets : May be part of a team responsible for installations and tasks such as building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You will typically be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which could include evenings or weekends. One Team Vision : You are part of Hallmark\u2019s field organization and may support other team members in their territories. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You may need to kneel, squat, walk, stand, and potentially climb stairs or ladders. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS At least 18 years of age. Able to read, write, and understand English. Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information. Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet. Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled. Part-time employees with a work schedule of less than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits through Voluntary Benefits (including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage). Salary and Schedule Details Your starting hourly pay rate will be $12.75-$14.00 per hour , depending on skills and experience. Paid training provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees are offered voluntary benefits as described above. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
