Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitors patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. How you’ll make an impact in this role Clinical Excellence: You will implement, monitor, and adapt personalized care plans, acting as the primary advocate for your patients by communicating critical condition changes in real-time. Care Orchestration: Serving as the central hub of the clinical team, you’ll harmonize efforts across multiple disciplines to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated healthcare journey. Precision & Action: You’ll expertly translate physician and nursing orders into high-quality clinical actions, ensuring safety and accuracy are at the forefront of everything you do. Transition Advocacy: Your expertise will guide patients beyond our walls as you collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate thoughtful, comprehensive discharge plans. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
