Structural Engineer

Our client, an industry‑leading design and manufacturing organization specializing in custom industrial mechanical and electrical modular buildings and high‑performance HVAC systems, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team. As a Structural Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting project development and execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach that aligns successfully with the organization. Job Title Structural Engineer Pay Range $120,000 - $150,000 What's the Job? Develop structural designs for industrial modular buildings, including steel structures, connections, and anchoring systems. Serve as the Engineer of Record (EOR), ensuring safety, compliance, and quality of all project deliverables. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective project solutions. Create and review project submittals, specifications, and proposals for client and regulatory approvals. Conduct factory inspections to verify compliance with designs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. What's Needed? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in steel design. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); Structural Engineer licensure is a plus. Expertise in steel connection design and proficiency with tools such as Excel, MathCAD, and structural analysis software like RAM Elements and RAM Connections. Strong knowledge of US building codes and standards including IBC, ASCE, AISC, ASME, and API. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. What's in it for me?
