Key Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, lowboys, and trailers, to transport materials and equipment. Load, unload, and secure materials and equipment using proper procedures to prevent damage, shifting, or injury. Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation. Follow assigned schedules, routes, and instructions from supervisors and dispatch personnel. Secure loads using chains, binders, straps, tarps, and other approved methods. Comply with all company safety policies as well as federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Assist construction crews with general labor duties, including material handling, site preparation, excavation support, grading, cleanup, and other project‑related tasks. Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment as needed to support daily construction activities. Help load, unload, stage, and organize materials, equipment, and supplies at job sites and company facilities. Support crew members in completing projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Maintain a clean and organized work area, vehicle, and job site. Report vehicle maintenance issues, delays, accidents, or safety concerns promptly. Perform additional duties as assigned.
